Kitchen Gadget

We have a prolific sour cherry tree in our yard,  whose fruit is edible in all sorts of things– jams, pies, cakes, etc,  but the worst part of the harvest is the infernal pitting of the cherries.  With this little baby the job has definitely become a whole lot easier, some might even say, fun!  Check out this video to see the cherry pitter in action:

The sour cherries in your back yard are the most delicious I’ve ever had – even right off the branch 🙂 Last batch that I got from you I made jelly with 🙂 Absolutely beautiful. Didn’t last too long though 🙂

It is a cool kitchen gadget….too bad I didn’t have one of those when our own Evans Cherry Tree was still alive and bearing ever so many cherries.
